Living in an Emeryville Home

Emeryville features a high cost of living in comparison to the rest of the nation and an unemployment rate that is fairly low in comparison to the rest of California. Emeryville History

Emeryville homes for sale are located in a historically rich area. European settlement of Emeryville and the surrounding area has a long history that began in the late 18th century. However, even before this the area had a strong Native American population and already featured heavy development. Emeryville was incorporated as a town in 1896, and it was named after a "forty-niner" named Joseph Stickney Emery who came to the area during the Gold Rush.
